Our Bar and Restaurant

Locally produced Butcombe ales and authentic West Country ciders sit alongside guest beers and a fine selection of wines and spirits. Seasonal pitchers, such as Pimm’s or mulled wine are also available.

The convivial atmosphere of the bar at the Drayton Crown is where locals meet and visitors are welcomed.

As you might expect from a village inn set within 160,000 acres of the fertile Somerset Levels, local ingredients feature extensively on the menu. The West Country is celebrated for its food, with a plethora of farmers, growers and artisan producers supplying produce and inspiration to our chef in residence.

Menus change regularly, but at the heart of all of them are freshly-prepared dishes using fresh ingredients, and the choice is varied enough to appeal to all tastes. Our specials board and regular themed nights, only add to the array of tempting choices available. We also offer our Dinky Draytoners menu, for any little ones enjoying the play area, coming with a free squash and a scoop of ice cream.

We serve our regular menu from 12pm to 2.30pm Tuesday to Saturday, and again in the evening at 6pm to 9pm. On Sunday we do our traditional Sunday roast 12pm to 3pm We always advise booking a table, especially over the weekend.
