Our Bar and Restaurant
Locally produced Butcombe ales and authentic West Country ciders sit alongside guest beers and a fine selection of wines and spirits. Seasonal pitchers, such as Pimm’s or mulled wine are also available.
The convivial atmosphere of the bar at the Drayton Crown is where locals meet and visitors are welcomed.
As you might expect from a village inn set within 160,000 acres of the fertile Somerset Levels, local ingredients feature extensively on the menu. The West Country is celebrated for its food, with a plethora of farmers, growers and artisan producers supplying produce and inspiration to our chef in residence.
Following the Covid-19 announcement on 26th December 2020 placing us under Tier 2 restrictions, we have made the sad, but necessary, decision to remain closed until the Government relaxes what is permissible for pubs and restaurants in Tier 2 areas, or we are moved into Tier 1. As soon as we have any notification of the Government’s review of the situation (by Wednesday 16 December 2020), we will review our situation and let you know what our plans are. In the meantime, all of us at the Drayton Crown wish you and your families the very best – and hope to see you all soon. Stay safe.
